Visitors to UConn must receive any mail or packages through their program’s office.  See your program Director for their office address.  Sending mail or packages to a residence hall will result in that item being returned to sender.

You will be provided a mailbox key for a box at Putnam mailroom for your letter mail.


All packages will be kept at the Central Warehouse for pick up. Emails will be sent to residents when packages are available.

Mansfield Apartments is served directly by USPS, UPS, FEDEX and DHL directly.  Packages and mail is delivered to the apartment doors.

When your student’s package arrives at their mailroom, after being sorted on campus at a central sorting facility, they will receive an email with “UConn Package ready” as the subject line.  The email is similar to the example below:

Residential mailrooms are normally open Monday through Friday from 10am to 7pm. Check your mailroom service desk for further details on hours. If the Mailroom location is Warehouse, you have a Priority Express parcel to be pick-up here at University Mail Services located in the Central Warehouse building.
