Mailrooms will close 2pm on Friday, December 12, 2025 for the Winter Break and will reopen the first day of Spring classes 2026.

Packages not picked up by December 12th and received at UConn before Monday, December 8th, will be returned to sender.

Any packages/mail arriving on or after December 8th addressed to Spring on-campus residents will be held off-site once the mailrooms close and unavailable until the mailrooms open the first day of Spring classes.

Students registered with Housing Services/Res Life and remaining on campus over Winter Break will be notified when they have a package to pick up and can do so at University Mail Services (UMS) during the hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. UMS will be closed December 25 & 26 as well as December 31, 2025 and January 1, 2026.
